I'm Melissa Barnard, owner of MLB Service Group. I'll be real with you: we are a shop of many trades and talents, not a one-trick pony. My husband Brent handles our technical execution, and he has spent his life mastering a massive range of complex skills across tons of industries. He's done precision mechanical work, oilfield mechanics, automotive wiring, custom guitar building, country music production, hydraulic cylinder repacks, construction, carpentry, taxidermy and award-winning custom paint and airbrush work. He was a CDL truck owner-operator hauling heavy-haul permit loads, Chemicals, and even ran a full trucking company managing 50 trucks cross-country.
Most importantly, Brent is a licensed aircraft mechanic. He's held his FAA A&P license since 1992, working in small FBO hangars where you have to be resourceful, precise, and completely disciplined because there is zero room for error. People who know his work will tell you straight up: there ain't nothing Brent Barnard can't build, drive, manage, or fix.
Right now, we are expanding our shop's capabilities, focusing heavily on kitted mechanical sub-assemblies and precision electronic box builds, with supporting capabilities in wire harness bundles. We are fully set up for in-shop, kitted contract manufacturing where you ship us the components, enclosures, and step-by-step layout drawings, and we handle the precision bench assembly, hardware torquing, and quality control right here. We want to learn your specific trade inside and out. Brent is open to traveling directly to your facility for training to your exact assembly techniques and step-by-step processes under a sponsored travel and lodging agreement, or via a Mentor-Protégé partnership. You show him exactly how you want your recipes built, and he will deliver flawless execution.
